Short Oral Communications (SO)
Short Oral Communications were proposed to the International Program Committee via a one-page abstract. The deadline for the submission of SO proposals was March 1st, 2011. The number of submitted proposals was 181.
Each participant is allowed to present only one Research Report or Short Oral Presentation.
Proposals for such communications were reviewed by the members of the International Program Committee. Notification of the decision of the IPC to accept or reject a SO proposal was sent by April 7th, 2011. In case of non-acceptance, a short justification of the decision was provided.
In order for an accepted proposal to appear in the proceedings the presenting author(s) must pay the total Conference fee no later than May 16th, 2011 (The Conference Deposit already paid by the presenting author(s) for the Pre-Registration is non-refundable).
SO Communications will be presented in groups of three. Each individual SO is allocated 10 minutes for the oral presentation and, when all three presentations are completed, a 15 minutes period is devoted to discussion on all three presentations.
